SHOPPPING LIST
Hey guys,
Welcome back to my blog.
Today I'm gonna give you a shopping list for your
new cat.
SHOPPING LIST
FOOD
KITTENS: Babies need more fats and proteins than grown cats so look for food with ''complete balance and nutrition'' on the label as well as the AAFCO animal feeding tested statement ''for all life stages''.
There also foods specifically formulated for kittens.
Kittens from eight weeks upwards can handle dry food quite well, although canned food is better.
ADULT CATS:
Canned foods are better for them. Premium brands are acceptable.
FOOD AND WATER BOWLS
Ceramic[non-lead glazed] or stainless steel bowls
TOYS
''The fishing pool , dangling lure'' kind of toy is a big favorite for interactive play.
''catnip mice'' are a perennial favorite. ''Kitty houses'' and ''Climbing posts''.
GROOMING TOOLS
Fine toothed comb and rubber -backed pin brush. Nail clipper designed for cats is a must.
CAT CARRIER
SCRATCHING POST
LITTER BOX AND LITTER
A BED [optional but recommended]
MAKE A VET APPOINTMENT
AND THAT'S IT YOUR NEW CAT'S FRIENDLY NEW HOME IS READY!
MORE INFO WILL BE THERE ON MY UPCOMING POSTS, SO STAY TUNED.
